What we do
Vention Lab is all about connecting people with each other and the information that matters to them to improve care.
We specialise in live measurements on low power, integrated with cloud-computing and live data analysis and Apps, to make a difference in two key areas:
preventative care for seniors and disabled living alone, and
asset/machinery management.
The product range, in two main parts — UltraCall and BenchMarker —includes a wide range of sensors that measure and analyse the behaviours of people in spaces and of machinery, processes and equipment to deliver powerful insights and highlights to caregivers and managers over Apps.

The Team
The Vention Lab team includes promotion, sales and customer support, manufacturing, product development and operations. Our teams are broadly capable, experienced and enthusiastic about what they do and are ready to serve.
Small enough to move quickly, experienced enough to solve complex problems, the sales and technology teams cover the intricacies of integrated solutions: hardware, software, networks, low-power radio communications, cloud analysis, user Apps. The global-grade products are robust, secure and reliable.

The Founders
The company was founded by the three majority owners Robert Jackson, Warwick Jones and Karen Matthews, who combined their skills in manufacturing, engineering, and sales and marketing. They have a proven capacity to evolve and commercialise technology products. The combination of the founders and the highly capable teams they lead brings many decades of development and experience to Vention Lab products.

Manufacturing Lead
Robert enjoys managing successful engineering businesses, and has decades of experience leading large manufacturing teams.
He enjoys automating and refining the manufacturing processes, with ongoing innovation and improvements.
Robert has an innate drive and passion to ensure customers receive pleasing quality, always delivered on time.

Product Lead
Warwick guides the solutions we offer to market. His area of product development and technology operations gives him plenty of challenge and excitement.
His work is to make future products and services superbly suit our markets.
With engineering training and learning in medical and non-medical home care services and a career in process control he finds plenty of challenge as the team turns live analysis into value for our customers.

Marketing Lead
Karen directs company marketing.
Lead generation, seeing new sales relationships get growing, and uniting our innovation abilities with market needs are her key enjoyments at work.
She brings the sales, product development and customer service efforts together so we achieve key goals.
Karen is thrilled by seeing combined efforts across our teams feed company growth. She is passionate about growing the company’s strategic direction with market insights and customer feedback that keep us growing.
